Why we built it
We started DomainSpace because buying a .si domain from outside Slovenia was harder than it should be.
So the shop works in English, Slovenian and Croatian, shows the price upfront with VAT included, and is open to individuals and companies anywhere in the world: you do not need to live in Slovenia or have a company there.
How we work
- We are an independent reseller of .si domains. We register domains through the registrar platform Openprovider and take payment through Stripe.
- The .si registry is Register.si, operated by ARNES (the Academic and Research Network of Slovenia). We are not affiliated with it, nor with any AI company.
- A .si domain costs €19.99 for the first year, VAT included. It renews at the same price: €19.99 per year. Other endings have their own flat yearly price, the same for registration and renewal.
- Support hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00–17:00 CET.

Price lock
A .si renewal never costs more than €19.99/yr for as long as you keep the domain, and a lower price applies to it too. Other endings renew at the price they were registered at.
Never lose your domain
If a renewal slips in your first year, we cover any registry restore fee.

Free done-for-you setup
Tell us your host or email provider and we set up the DNS for you, free.

He has spent more than a decade building online tools for small businesses and developers, and started DomainSpace because buying a .si domain from outside Slovenia was harder than it should be. He writes and checks the guides on this site against the .si registry's rules and our own registrations.
