Getting started
Confirming your email address with the registrar
After you register a domain you get an email asking you to confirm your email address. What it is and what to do.
After you register a domain, our registrar partner Openprovider sends you a separate email asking you to confirm your email address. Registrars must check that every domain holder can be reached at their email address. The email is genuine.
What to do. Open the email and click the link in it. You do this once per email address: if several of your domains use the same address, one click covers them all.
The deadline. You have about two weeks. While the address is not confirmed, your dashboard shows the exact date, and we remind you by email before it runs out.
If you do not confirm. The registrar may suspend the domain until you confirm: websites and email on it stop working. The domain stays yours, and the registrar lifts the suspension once you click the link.
Can't find the email? Look in your spam folder for a message from Openprovider. Or open your dashboard and press "Resend the confirmation email".
Not your address? If the address is wrong or no longer works, open the domain in your dashboard and use "Change the holder", or write to us at hello@domainspace.si. The registrar then sends a confirmation email to the new address.
