Your domain
Why is my DNS change not showing?
Check, in this order: the record, whose nameservers answer, the TTL, and your own device.
- Is the record saved? Open the domain in your dashboard and look at the DNS records list. The type, name (@ for the bare domain, www for www) and value must be exactly what your provider asked for.
- Run the live check. On the same page, the live check compares what the internet answers with what you set up and tells you what differs.
- Are the nameservers ours? The domain summary shows them. Records you edit here only work while the domain uses DomainSpace DNS. If you moved DNS to Cloudflare, change the records there.
- Wait for the TTL. Resolvers keep an old answer until its TTL (time to live) runs out, often minutes to a few hours. A changed nameserver can take a few hours.
- Clear your own cache. Try another network or a private window, or restart the device; your computer and router cache answers too.
If the live check still disagrees after a few hours, write to hello@domainspace.si with the domain and what you expect to see.
