How does auto-renew work, and how do I switch it off?

Auto-renew is ticked at checkout unless you untick it. It uses the card you paid with.

• 21 days before expiry we email you which date we will renew and which card we will charge.
• 14 days before expiry we renew the domain for one year and charge its renewal price (for .si €29; other endings their own flat price, see the price article; VAT included). You do not need to do anything.

Switch it off: open the dashboard, open the domain and choose "Turn off auto-renew". Do it before the notice date and nothing is charged. You can turn it back on there at any time.

Update the card: in the dashboard, under "Payment card for auto-renew", choose "Update card". If the card has expired, auto-renew cannot charge it until you update it.

If a charge fails: we email you a link to renew in one click. A declined card is tried again 7, 3 and 1 days before expiry. If your bank asks you to confirm the payment yourself, we cannot do that for you: pay through the link in the email.
