Change or cancel auto-renew, and what we email first
Switch it off on the domain's page before the notice email's date and nothing is charged.
Auto-renew is only on if you ticked it (it is never pre-ticked), and it uses the card you paid with.
What we email, in order 1. About 21 days before expiry: which date we will renew and which card we will charge. 2. 14 days before expiry: we renew for one year and charge the renewal price. 3. If the charge fails: a link to renew in one click, and a new attempt 7, 3 and 1 days before expiry.
Change it - Turn off or on: dashboard, open the domain, "Turn off auto-renew". Do it before the notice date and nothing is charged. - Change the card: dashboard, "Payment card for auto-renew", "Update card". - Renew yourself instead: the renew page of the domain, any time in the last 90 days.
